We also chatted about basketball and his favorite teams. That personal connection gave me immense comfort right before he numbed my gums. He was calm, conversational, and made what could’ve been a nerve-racking process feel much more relaxed. The procedure itself went smoothly I felt minimal discomfort, and the staff were attentive every step of the way. What impressed me even more is that after the extraction, Dr. Mercado’s generosity and personable nature convinced me to book a return appointment for a full cleaning. Now my entire family has scheduled cleanings here as well. We paid out of pocket, and the pricing was surprisingly affordable compared to other offices in the area. The atmosphere of the office is also worth noting: it’s tucked into a quiet neighborhood near East Robinson Street, with ample parking nearby, so getting in and out was stress-free.
