"After my ICU stay for septic shock, I was transferred to Broward Nursing & Rehab, after choosing from a list provided by the hospital I was in I totally made the right choice! It might not be the fanciest or newest facility, but the care I got there was top notch! The staff always took the time to chat or pop in to see how I was doing. Whenever I rang, there was no wait. Friendly, wonderful people work there- you won’t be disappointed. I was impressed with the nutrition- they came to my room to discuss likes, dislikes , etc. They also tailored the food to what was eaten or not, which I thought was really great. And although I couldn’t eat much, the food was very good. And visitors could order from a menu! Unfortunately, I was isolated bc of infection, so I didn’t really get to see what recreation or activities were offered, so I can’t comment, but I did have PT/OT in my room. The therapists were knowledgeable and kind, and helped me gain my mobility back. Thank you to all. There were so many staff, that I can’t begin to name them, but you all made my stay a wonderful transition from hospital to home. I sincerely appreciate all the care I received Thank you!
